Just keep working on her and hopefully she will follow through. Really the female needs to be spayed too. What if she got out while in heat? You need to get it out there to her that she is raising the risk of mammary cancer with each heat for her little female too.

If she gets into contact with me again, I will definitely try to help her understand this.
