 New Yorkie Mommy...
Hello everyone! I wanted to come in an introduce myself. I am a 3rd grade teacher in Houston and will be getting my first yorkie next weekend. I am very excited and cant wait to get him.
I am also nervous because I have never owned such a small dog! I have always had bigger dogs and my wonderful boxer Diamond "Indy" Ruff passed away last month. She died at the young age of 8 months due to seperation anxiety when I left her at my sisters house while I went out of town! Needless to say I was shocked and saddened.
I am anxious to see how this little guy will adapt to my home and life. I will be feeding him Wellness puppy and will start training inside on potty pads due to living in a high rise. I have never done potty pads and hope it goes well!
