Interesting article. I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on that neutering causes obesity, or increases the risk. That is entirely up to the pet owners. If they exercise and feed their little ones right, obesity shouldn't be an issue.

OP: I personally would wait 8-10 month range, or to be more precise, I'd ask my vet to check if my pup's growth plates have closed and not do it before.
