I have not made up my mind. As a matter of fact, I have called the shelter and left my number and his description. I also took him to my vet to be scanned and he is not chipped. I also posted a craigslist ad and will be putting an ad in the local newspaper.

I have an almost 6-month-old female in my home and feel it is important that I get them both fixed asap because I am having to keep them separated to ensure that nothing happens.

Yes, I do look down on the owner for not chipping, not neutering, and not having their dog wear a collar. As of now, no one has posted a CL ad or called the shelter looking for their dog. I will keep him for 2 weeks but after that I will be getting him fixed and re-home him.

If the owner thinks they can do anything after two weeks of searching... good luck!
