I personally like my girls to be 5 lbs and over. Alot goes into it than just size. Genetics also play a huge role. Do you know the sizes of her ancestors on both sides? Her build also. Some have a bigger build and some are very small framed.

Also how old is she?

Even if you bred her to a smaller male, that doesnt mean he will throw small pups. Depends on genetics.

I would consult with your vet. Alot goes into breeding...from the actual breeding to the whelping and its not always easy. Alot can happen and will happen. (speaking from experience)
