I agree, rules should be the same whether or not you are in a club, but I do believe you are blowing this out of proportion, the breeder said something about downsizing, and when asked how many she had she said "too many." I'm sure lots of breeders think that at times, and probably a few pet owners! Sometimes, it does seem like people love to pick out any flaw a member of the YTCA has and pounce on it. On one hand, people are so angry because the club is so picky and won't let them in, and on the other hand, they criticize it because one of the members do or say something they don't like. The purpose of the club is not to sell puppies it has nothing to do with that; it's to persevere, protect, and improve the breed. It's filled with humans and humans are flawed, but it's still the best protection the Yorkshire Terrier has.
