Animal Smiley 019 Heat related diareah?

My 8 month old puppy has been having diareah issues now for about 2 weeks. I took her to the vets at the beginning and we think it is due to the extreme heat we have had an almost non stop heat wave in the northeast for this entire time period. The vet said to feed her chicken and rice and a littleof the activia yogurt. But if she is eating drinking and playing like normal it is mostlikely just the heat. And all of the above is truebut it's been 2 weeks and I don't see muchimprovement. Also she is suddenly going under our loveseat and peeing and pooping a lot more off her pads than usual. We are keeping her in air conditioning 99% of the time and playing with her a lit to keep her well excercised. Has anyone else ever experienced this type of issue?? Pls let me know.
Best annie and beenie
