Lucy was about 6-7 months when she started going down our steep stairs; it did take her a while. She jumped up on furniture at about 6 months too - much to the dismay of my Westie who liked to get away from her.
I sure hope you find out what is going on. Hopefully, the BATS will lead them in a direction one way or the other.
