We had DirecTV for many years then our unit went out and we had to schedule a service call. We had to wait a week for our appointment then on the day of our service call they called and said they could not make it and we would have to go to the end of the line to schedule another appointment.

It was going to be another week before they would come out so we canceled the DirecTV service and signed up with Dish. I have been happy with the Dish service but my husband liked the way the DirecTV system worked vs the Dish system.
