 Hawks
We have the hawks too. The regular ones and ones that are big and black. They normally go for dead animals and small rodents. I see the regular hawks perched around my yard (fence, pool deck, etc.) with either a snack, frog, lizzard, etc.). The big black ones on the other hand tried to get my oldest when she was a baby. I had her in a puppy pen outside while I was washing the deck and he just swooped down and I had to spray him with a water hose to get him to leave. Even the vet warned me when I first took her to the vet. I don't think we can't deter them from flying around, but I do watch my babies all the time outside. And yes, they do look like an airplane shadow when they fly over. Let me know if you find a good solution. |
