I agree with a lot of what has been posted thusfar by Carol, Kathy & Rhonda.

I do like the mindless chatter that goes on in this forum. It's fun to sign on YorkieTalk and read some of the cute and funny stories when I'm feeling like crap. and who can forget the priceless moments that our members capture with their cameras?

There are times when I think that some of the more controversial topics are beat to death (most of us know what those topics are already, so there's no need to point them out). The key, like you said, to controversial topics is that the dialogue is mostly respectful and interesting to read. When we start bringing up bullsh*t, that's when things become rude and uninteresting - it just becomes a question of who has a sharper tounge and who can reply first.

I think everyone who can read knows who believes what, who has owned/bred/cared for Yorkies the longest and the best. Personally, I listen to everyone's advice and experiences and weigh them according to how much I know about them, trust them and believe it or not, their spelling and grammar usage.
