Just rmember me - first time in the ring I thought I had a really nice yorkie...LOL Don't get me wrong, I really loved her (Chrissy), she had the body, but her coat was very sparse. I think back now if I had breed her - what would I have produced. I am glad that I learned and still learning and that comes with not only educating myself through reading but going to the shows and surrounding me with experts in this field. We talk, they talk, I listen.
I have always wondered how breeders who do not show can claim they are breeding to the standard. Who evaluates the dogs they breed? How can you claim you are trying to improve the breed if you don't even know what you are breeding?
