Wow I never heard of them around my area but I guess they are coming down more South in Ontario! I live just on the outside of the city. It's a small neighborhood just on the edge of the county. We have lots of open fields/farm land on the outside of our neighborhood. As well as a highway. It's so scary to think that they are around. It said in the paper not too far from my house, probably 10-15 min drive out more into the county a woman's pomeranian went missing after she heard it yelping in the yard after letting her out at night and the dog was gone! She said she hears the coyotes at night howling. I've got neighbors on all sides of my fence and we have a fenced in yard. Is there anything I can do to protect my yard? I don't let my babies out at night alone ever but still I don't know what I'd do if I found one in my yard
