I know he's teething. Is he doing this because he is teething or because that's in his breed?

Also, when I talk to him and he's sitting and I tell him no or stop, he growls at me, barks and acts like he's going to hurt me. But he doesn't. Its like he does it to scare me.

Overall, he's a good baby, he's 9 weeks old, almost 10, fast learner and very loving. Last night he was having a fit because I had him sleep in his crate. He cried and tried to get out of the crate and trust me he tried..lol.

I had to get to bed cause I work in the morning till 5pm. So I took him out the crate, put his bed by me and what do you know....he slept in it. lol

I guess he likes to be next to me??

Any ideas and or suggestions...???

Thanks for reading.
Hi there! No worries, my puppy is the SAME way. Its like if I'm not showing him attention and he's on my lap or on the ground he'll sit there and look up at me, growl or bark until I play with him. My baby is teething too and since I got him at 9 weeks (a bit earlier then I should have since I should have waited until 12 weeks) he hasn't learned bite inhibition so that is something I'm REALLY trying to work on. Sounds like you are going through the same problem if you have your pup at 9 weeks as well, just be patient and teach them "no bite" and that it hurts you. He'll catch on!!
