I love hearing that! See, I've heard things, like you have, about show dogs not even being allowed outdoors or to rough play with other dogs because their coat will get messed up and I just don't think that's fair.
I think if you AND your dog are enjoying it-that is GREAT! I know some dogs just have "IT" and love to walk around that ring and be a show dog and strut their stuff, I think that's wonderful.
