It took quite a few times the first day, then she was good for a while then we had to do it again a couple days ago and now she is fine again. I also wanted to let you know, we started putting her crate in our room at night. I think she is really comforted by my husband's snoring! Any way she wimpers occasionally and we just tap the crate and say quiet. She shuts right up and lately I have been able to sleep in. No more 5 am starts to my day. Quiet! is the best word she has learned. How is Bailey doing otherwise... Is he 2 lbs. yet?
Thanks for the suggestion Chloeandj. I'll have to try that out. I actually tried putting his crate in our room last night (on my side of the bed) and he cried/whined for about 20 min when we first put him in there (I'm suprised my fiance didn't make me take him out at that point) then he quieted down. At around 2:30am he woke me up to go potty. I took him outside, he did his thing, and when I put him back in his crate he started screaming again. Woke my fiance up, again, and I had to take him back to the other room, it took him a good 15 min or so to quiet down. The whole time my fiance was tossing & turning & cursing...
