YTCEHB is new, created about a year ago by Marsha Pressley who felt there was a need for an organization for breeders who may not fit into YTCA but who liked the idea of a code of ethics and a place to showcase their dogs. As membership grows and we can recruit volunteers to help organize things we would love to put together a monthly newsletter and offer educational programming. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT a place where just anybody can get on and sell puppies. Please bear in mind the good intentions rather than the web site design details. Marsha did all the work herself with no help and included some things we ultimately will not want and omitted others we will implement. As for membership, there is an informal screening process at this time and if you read all the information on the site you will see that when we have sufficient membership we will have a committee type system for accrediting breeders, and that process will include site visits. In the meantime, we're on the honor system. If you see someone listed who you feel shouldn't be, let us know and we will discreetly investigate.
