I would check out www.petsit.com it's professional pet sitting association...You can plug in your zip code, and see who boards in your area...I belong to this association, and you have to be bonded and insured...Most of us are also first aid/cpr certified...If you find several people that work in your area, interview them (it's usually free) and see who you feel comfortable with...I, actually, board small pups in my home, and I can tell you, they are verrrrrrrrrry happy to be here, and not a kennel...They have the run of the house, a predator proof back yard, to run around in (w/me watching their every move lol), and lots of love and attention...Hopefully, you will find someone to do the same for your babies...All the best to you in your search for the perfect pet sitter...
