Last October we went on a cruise. Had to leave Lil Bit and Beamer at the kennels. Never used the kennel before (was a "Preppy Pet Suite") as I usually had someone I could trust to take care of Lil Bit. But as we also had Beamer we decided to use this particular kennel. They did grooming also, and we asked that Beamer be brushed and Lil Bit be shaved down, as we keep her short.
When we came back from the cruise Bruce went to pick them up and I could have cried. They had cut Beamer way short, a short puppy cut, and just brushed Lil Bit. I called them right away, and the guy said that his wife had got them mixed up and he was sorry! Took about 4 months for his coat to get to where it had been.
And we had to have our regular groomer come over and shave Lil Bit for us. Her coat matts too easily and she is happiest when she is shaved down.
Needless to say we won't be boarding them there again.
