What the heck...my nephews played with them and no reaction. I couldn't believe it. Not long after that incident, she just sniffed one and had the same reaction. I think she has learned to stay away from them, but now I have a new baby who is now six months and she is finding every little frog there is in the yard...and they are all over the place. The baby frogs are as tiny as a pencil eraser and she is finding every one of them. I caught her chasing one with foam coming out of her mouth a couple of weeks ago. I rushed her inside and rinsed her mouth out. She is just not learning the word "NO" when it comes to chasing frogs! How can we minimize the amount in the yard? |
I feel your pain I have friends in palm bay and they have more frogs than I do... I wish I knew how to minimize them they don't seem to be harmful to humans I pick them up all the time they are just like regular toads that I remember growing up with from New York I have a fenced in backyard I don't even know how they get in do they dig under the fence? And yes I believe your right I think one day my dog just smelled one and he started foaming it's insane what can we do?
