There are several organizations throughout the country that provide low cost altering. The one thing to consider is the type of anesthetic they use.

In a near by neighboring county they provide spay service for $45.00 (nuetering is less), and chipping services for another $20.00. It's a donation run spay/nueter and low cost vaccination clinic.
