I use Tea Tree Oil for all kinds of doggie boo-boos so when I had to replace the sheet rock again, I mixed that in the spackle. Solved the problem.

Mitchim's clear deoderant does the trick too. I had new puppies ruin my custom made kitchen cabinets......after refinishing them a couple of times....tried the Mitchims and never had a problem again.
