My pup isn't quite 4 months yet so I'm new at this potty training stuff as well but I train mine to go outside and have had a lot of success so far. I just keep him on a set schedule and use a specific "potty" treat that he only gets when he goes outside
Make sure to only give him the treat outside. At this point he knows when I grab his treat bag that its time to go potty, best of luck with your little one! Do you have a name picked out yet??
