It all depends on how your baby reacts to other dogs, as everyone has said. Let him feel the new puppy out for himself with your supervision. My Bounce sometimes loves new dogs, and sometimes wants nothing to do with them at first. They all have such individual personalities. I also believe that crate training your baby is the best thing you can do for him. You'll have a better dog for it. I made that mistake with Bounce when he was young, but luckily he likes his crate now and will willingly go in it if I have cleaning to do or have to put him up while grooming an aggressive dog at work. I think you'll do just fine. You're doing great just being here! There are so many smart people in this forum.
