I am originally from Lancashire - just over the border from Yorkshire. (We sometimes still fight "The Wars of the Roses" with my Yorkshire cousins) |
I did know this but I wasn't sure if it was 'true' or if it was just a 'rumor!' I love Scottish and Irish names! I always have. So, when I decided I was getting another puppy, I knew his name had to be one of those. But, I decided that it'd be good to go with a Scottish name because of his breed's heritage!
