Geez, I blame the heat for not making sense in the first paragraph.
I know it sucks to have to walk away after you had your hopes up. It doesn't make sense for the breeder to be defensive about questions she should be hearing from potential parents. Pup parents need to get to know the breeder as much as the breeder needs to get to know the future pet parents. You're not buying a bracelet here, all the little questions are important.
