Well as far as the name is concerned I highly recommend Shayla. Of course I am slightly biased since that is what I named my oldest daughter (human not yorkie).
I got my yorkie at 6 weeks old also. The mother was dog-napped when the puppies were 5 weeks old and after searching for the mother for a week the breeder decided to adopt them out early. At the time I didn't realize just how young that was. She weighed 1 lb 8 oz when I got her. The puppies in her litter were taken to the vet the morning I picked her up for their first shots. I took her to my vet who felt that 6 weeks was too young for the first shots and repeated them at 8 weeks. |
