WOW... As the Mom of 7 kids I wanted to say....NO you were not wrong to say something!!!!! Granted I wasn't there and not sure how it all went down but If it was at all possible for her to take the baby somewhere else she should have. Was this in a church or somewhere she could have taken the baby elsewhere????? I have had to get up and go many times with my children ... even from church. When I couldn't leave I have at least tried to take them to another section where they wouldn't be so disturbing.
And I also wanted to say ..yes my kids have done a rude thing or two in places like grocery stores before ... and I also know I marched them back to the person and made them apologize and also apologized myself . I would never blame someone else for my children's rude behavior.....LOL... of course one time when my 2 son's were 4 and 5 they had a audible conversation with eachother about a certain gray haired lady blocking out way. One had said something like excuse me and when she didn't move my 4 year old told my 3 year old(in a loud whisper)... she can't hear you she is old
I almost DIED because EVERBODY heard that and I didn't know how to politely get out of that one so I just took their hands and walked away hoping the lady didn't look at me
