Congrats on your new puppy and welcome. I also have a Shih Tzu, but she is 14 1/2 years old. We brought in a new puppy when she was a little younger than yours and she did fine with him. The yorkies that we now have are 2 years and 4 1/2 months so she tolerates them. I would just keep an eye on them for a couple of days to see how well they get along. My Shih Tzu doesn't think that she is a dog. I would think as long as you still show her the attention that you did prior to the new puppy or as much as you can that all will be well.
I've never had to get onto her for being rough with the other dogs. Has yours been exposed on a regular or semi-regular basis to other dogs?
