In my opinion you should not get a dog right now puppy or older.
You said someone stole all your penny's that you had saved for the dog.
So do you not have any money to spare for a dog at all? this means you cannot afford the supplies you need for a dog for example bed, food/water bowls, training supplies, pen/crate, vet bills, food, worming syrup/tablets, ear cleaning products ect.
Even if you got an older dog from a rescue centre could you afford the supplies it needs?
You dont NEED to get a dog so soon, save up some more money before you get one
