All four of mine do that. The 80lb mutt Bear takes a mouthful and walks all the way into the kitchen (food bowls are in the open pantry) where he opens his mouth, drops it all over and eats it all off the floor. Baxter does the same with smaller mouthfuls. The yorkies? HAH.. one piece at a time. Carry it all the way into the living room. Stand and crunch it then run all the way back through the kitchen to the pantry, get another piece, run back to the living room to stand and eat it. Then sometimes, Baby will take one piece bring it to the living room, place it on the floor, station herself 8" away from it and wait for someone to try to take it. At which point she'll snatch it and run. She does this just to antagonize the other residents. She'll do this with cookies or anything to torture them. Just set it down. And lay just out of reach and wait.
