I hope this gets passed. I am in Canada and the only pet store I know of in my area that sells animals is Petland. I am pretty sure that most puppies are imported from the US so this bill would put a damper on their sales even here.
As for havig to exercise the dogs everyday, unless someone is going to police this everyday, which I'm sure will not happen, they will probably be left in cages. I do think this is definitely a step in the right direction, hopefully just the beginning.
