We have had parties where my husband would spray all the bushes around on house with the fogger. He would do it while they were all dormant during the day and it would control them at night. In IL we have West Nile that is carried by mosquitoes and people have died from the disease. What I do know is that they will not travel a far distance and stay right in their area. So if you were to fog at your property line or onto the vacant house that would cut down on your problems. From what I understand you only need to make a perimeter.
