Both really... I have a few water squeaky toys he just loves. So if I throw that in, he will go diving in after it. He prefers to jump off the side onto the raft first THEN dive into the water, lol. Goofball. But sometimes if we're in the pool and he just can't stand it anymore, he will jump in!
