I always feel for the parents too, but when I read about people getting dogs from petstores or over the internet, without meeting the breeder or seeing where their puppies come from, I can't help but feel puppymills will never end, and the cruelty of the business will continue indefinitely.
I wonder if those young people who wanted a dog to breed won't buy the next one that goes on sale or find one somewhere else?
