Thanks, everyone, for your encouraging words. Though I am definitely separating Dante (the Biewer) from my Kerries when I have to leave them alone, when I'm home they do well together. Dante barks at Riley (the 2 yr old male) to play, and Riley will let him pull his beard, etc. I keep telling Riley "Gentle!" and he mouths Dante - gently. Dante loves this play and sometimes when Riley gets tired of it, I have to distract Dante (even with a time out) to get him to leave Riley alone.

The mastiff puppy is adorable, too - but two puppies, with this disparate sizing, really is a handful! When I get out treats, the mastiff will step on everyone to get his (and theirs). So we're working on sit and wait.

Do you ever get to a point you can just leave them all together and not worry about the little one?
