 Show ring/judging question
A couple members who show have said that a small female sometimes isn't given points because they would be 'wasted' if she's too small for breeding...that made me curious. What about a small male? Are points given regardless of size? Assuming, of course, that the male falls within the AKC standard...but, if that's the case...wouldn't it be required that a female in the ring fall within the standards too? What if the small female isn't done growing...would she not be given points because she 'might' stay too small to breed? |
