The only advice I can give is vacuum, vacuum, VACUUM! Haha my little guy picks up everything he can find and even though I have him gated in a few select areas and watch him constantly, he still manages to get something in his mouth non-stop
Also make sure to have Nutri-cal on hand always just for precaution. I haven't had to use mine at all but its very important to have on hand for emergencies
