I work full time and when we first got Pixie is was over a weekend and when we went to work on Monday she had her crate and water and food she did find. She was 10 weeks old at the time and now she is almost 2 years old. Now she has almost the full run of the house.
It sound like this lady is just trying to scare you. Your puppy will do find.
