I did used a clicker and treats the help my pup learn his name. Having the treat in my hand and moving it toward my face ,then clicking when he makes eye contact and then giving him the treat. After a few times I began saying his name when he made the eye contact before clicking. I did that game twice on two seperate days a few weeks ago. For the last 2 weeks I've noticed he immediately looks right at me or comes when he hears his name (he's 16 wks now). |
