The surest way to insure no unplanned pregnancies is to get all your dogs neutered at an appropriate age. Please remember at the first and earliest sign you suspect your bitch might have an unwanted pregnancy, you can bring her in for a spay and neuter.

One of the most cited reasons for wanting your bitch to breed is; I just wanted her to experience being a Mom one time. Well that is only your want, certainly not necessarily your dogs. It quite simply is not enough of a reason to breed blindly, with no experience, with no research, with no mentor, with no plan in place for all the challenges and responsibilities of breeding.

So ask your questions, but please before hand read all the threads here on whelping, breeding, health tests, etc. These threads can be found at the top of each forum, and some are in the YT Library.
