They probably don't get as good as prices as the Internet stores, so the markup many not be as much as you think, Internet stores can buy in real bulk and so they get the best pricing. I know that many heart worm medications guarantee against the disease or will pay for treatment should your dog get it, as long as you can verify, that you bought the heartworm medication during the giving period, so this is also something to keep in mind should you buy the medicine elsewhere; save all receipts.
