Wow - took the kids to the vet yesterday to get flea/tick and heartworm meds. After getting home and going over the bill I noticed that the flea & tick med (Frontline Plus - up to 22 pounds - 3 count) was $53.37 a box - and I got 2!!! wth?
I looked Frontline Plus up on a couple of sites and found one that said I didn't need a prescription but others said yes.
Most of the places were selling the exact same stuff for about $35
Where do you all buy yours?
And how much do you pay?
And do you have to have a Vet's prescription?
I'm just blown away. We don't have to use the heartworm or flea/tick meds out here so it's been over 13 yrs since I've had to get this stuff. I just can't believe how expensive it is.
btw - reason I didn't notice the price @ the vets was because I had Mia's routine office visit, her rabies shot, her fecal exam, both kids heartworm test, 2 boxes Iverhart Plus, and 2 boxes Frontline Plus... total $360.00
Yea - they ain't cheap! lol!
