Not out of the woods yet :( Well apparently we are not out of the woods yet. We have to have an ultrasound to make sure Teddy does not have any stones. Apparently, a very small stone was noted at the last ultrasound, before we started the Uro-eze treatment.
So if Teddy no longer has the stone, then we may be able to conclude his medication worked and that the stone was probably a struvite because only struvites are dissolvable by diet/medication (i.e. changes to the bladder environment). If he still has a stone, then we are looking at surgery to remove the stone and then send it to the lab to see if it is a struvite or a calcium oxalate stone. I'm hoping we are dealing only with struvites.
Teddy seems better, I hope we do not need surgery.
