My Yorkie is 7 1/2 years and is 4 pounds. She appears to have a lot of anxiety. She is relieving herself all over the house. Was recently treated for a UTI but that is better now. She continues to go all over the house. Her licking is out of control. She will spend 30 minutes licking anything I have come in contact with. She has recently been trembling for not apparent reason even when I hold her. My vet has suggested medication. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas. I would rather not medicate her but I feel so bad for her and all this anxiety she is experiencing. I'd like to know if anyone has tried medication and how it worked for you or if there is something else I should try.
