Yesterday I found a tick on Baron and didn't want to risk anything, so I ran to the nearest vet to get it removed. The vet recommended Vectra 3-D. It was $84 but I was in panic mode at that time and ignorantly agreed to get it. I went home and read previous forums that contained frightening stories about it. So I decided to go back to the vet today to ask if I can get a refund or perhaps another medication. The receptionist stalled time and kept questioning me about what exactly I heard about Vectra and I explained to her the stories, how it's a fairly new medication, and how it's just too much for my yorkie. 10 minutes later, she tells me that the vet says it's the safest medication out there and left the medication on the counter... :/ I don't know if i should just try it out or toss it out. Or go back and try asking to get another product.
