I'm sorry your husband feels that way. Has he said why? Perhaps he thinks he has a good thing going with Harley and doesn't want to upset the apple cart. It would be nice for Harley - if the two get along - to have another lil guy to keep him company when everyone is gone. Then he won't be so lonely.
