I was reading the paper this morning and came across yet another ad from this puppy mill here in the county. 2 yrs. ago I bought one of their puppies, ( before I was educated on mills ) and I noticed how bad their conditions were. This has been bothering me for a very long time so when I saw their ad this morning I made up my mind these people have to be stopped! This Amish family was advertising a yorkie and yorkie/maltese mixed. I got in my car and drove to their house, as soon as I got out of my car the smell about knocked me down. Her yorkie was sold, she said it was the only survivor of the litter because the mom was so young.
After looking ( investigating ) at 4 different breeds for sale ranging from 175.00 to 350.00 I had enough! I drove to the animal control office and filed a sworn report. They said they would have their investigator look into it and would be getting in touch with me.
Sorry for such a long post, I am so upset on how anybody could treat animals in such a horrible way..
