On the underside or upper? Does she wear a collar? Are the scabs teensy, or like the size of a pencil eraser? How big is the whole area?
So, a scab appears without any bleeding first? Is it more like a crust? Is she greasy at all?
Have you tried a prescription Gentamycin (has other ingredients too, incl. topical steroid) spray yet...if not, that would be a good thing to try if it's possible that it's bacterial or inflammation.
