I really think it all depends on the size of the dog, the kind of food they eat and how much, and how many times a day they eat. Wosie weighs 4 pounds and gets about 1/2-3/4 cup per day. I split it up and feed her once in the morning and once at night, and she usually has between 2-4 poops per day.
